The symposia will take place at the campus of University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, Moore Hall 155B. (Please note the room change.)

Accommodation

Honolulu is a major global tourist destination and is well served by a range of accommodation options.

For the two symposia, we have arranged for on-campus lodging that will provide a less expensive and more convenient option for participants. We have also arranged special group rates at the Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach.

Participants are welcome to arrange any other options for lodging.

These special group rates at the Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach are:

• Courtyard Waikiki Beach for 169 USD – 179 USD per night
• $25/night Valet Parking – excluding gratuities (Normally $51/night)

Lincoln Hall

Lincoln Hall is a good option for on-campus accommodations. All studios have cable TV, telephone service, internet access, and private bathroom/toilet facilities. However, air conditioning is NOT available. 

If you are interested in staying at the Lincoln Hall, please contact the East-West Center Housing Office directly to make your reservation. Be sure to mention that you are an ISMIL/ISLOJ Call-In group member so you can get the special rates. Please make your reservation as early as possible for your best chance at getting a room. They fill up quickly. Call-in group reservations can be made for anytime during the period May 14 to May 24, 2023.

Standard studio  Double bed (single or double occupancy) $77.00 per night

Corner studio  Two double beds (single or double occupancy) $95.00 per night

Kitchen unit  Queen bed (single or double occupancy) $111.00 per night

** All visitors must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in order to reside in Lincoln Hall and will be required to provide verifying documentation.  Information will be provided to them upon reservation confirmation.
