15th International Conference
on Austronesian Linguistics

The conference is organized by the Department of Asian Studies and Sinophone Borderlands – interaction at the edges, reg. no. CZ.02.1.01/0.0/0.0/16_019/0000791
at Palacký University Olomouc. The department focuses its teaching and research activities on languages, cultures, and societies of contemporary China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, and Vietnam. It offers degree courses on undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate level.

We hope that despite the current challenges created by the coronavirus outbreak we will be able to organize the conference in the usual in-person format. However, the final decision about the format will be made closer to the conference date in the late spring of 2021 so as to accommodate potential travel restrictions and social-distancing rules, as well as the preferences of the conference participants.
