The only real top-range international standard hotel in Manokwari is the newly opened Aston. The Swiss Belhotel is now the second-best in town, while next down in tbe list, but with the most beautiful location , is the Mansinam Beach Hotel. Other than these, there is a wide choice of mid and lower range hotels, though none stand out as being exceptional in any way, and at any given time, a certain percentage of the promised facilities (water, airconditioning, TV, minibar, etc.) are likely to be broken down — just grin and bear it. Prices are around 50% to 100% more than what you'd expect from similar standard hotels in Indonesia proper, but fluctuate frequently, and are negotiable.

Mansinam Beach Hotel

A few kilometers northeast of town, in a village called Kwawi, beautifully situated on the waterfront facing Mansinam island. Watersports, billiards, karaoke, a good restaurant over the water, and occasional wifi. The cheaper rooms are clean and modern, but very small and with no view.
