There are two direct flights from Jakarta daily, one on Garuda Indonesia and the other on Lion Air. Please note that flights are sometimes designated as destined to Mataram, Ampenan, or Lombok. However, they all arrive at the same airport, located at Ampenan, near Mataram, the largest city on Lombok. As of Sept. 2008, the price from the airport to Senggigi was IDR 50,000, and it's about a 25 minute ride. For cheaper, metered taxis, one can just walk outside the airport gate (not that far) and hail one. It should be around IDR 37,000.
